St. Joseph Community School recently announced that its before and after school care program will be available to both its students and those from New Hampton Community Schools this coming school year.
Their service is available in the morning from 6:30 to 8 am and in the afternoons from after school to 6 pm. Students that are not enrolled at St. Joe's would be able to use one of the buses that drop students off at the school to get back to the public school in time for classes. On Wednesdays, with the scheduled one-hour early dismissals, the program would begin at dismissal time. Morning fees are a flat $3 per student; afternoon fees will be $2 per hour.
School officials would like to gauge the interest in this offering in order to best plan for staff and facility needs. Those who are interested can call the St. Joe's office at 394-2865. There is no obligation to use the service if you indicate that you are interested.
