The New Hampton Swimming Pool will open on Saturday, May 24, 2014!  The tentative closing day is Sunday, August 17, 2014.  *Dog Swim the last Day*

Open 7 days a week!

8:00-12:25      Swim lessons/programs
12:00-1:30      Adult Swim
1:30-8:00 pm  Open Swim
3:00, 5:00, & 7:00 pool checks
8:10-8:50 pm  Swim lessons

*Floating devices will be allowed Monday-Friday, the last hour of open swim (7-8 pm)

Admission Fees

Daily Admit Prices
Ages 3 & under - $1.00
Ages 4-17 yrs - $4.00
Ages 18+ - $5.00

Season Pass Prices
Punch Pass (10 times) - $35.00

Single Pass (1 person is allowed to use) - $60.00

Family Pass (by household) - $125.00

Passes can be purchased at the New Hampton Park & Recreation office ONLY.  They may no longer be purchased at the swimming pool.  If you cannot make it to the Park & Rec office during their 7 am - 5 pm business hours, please call them and they will work something out with you!

Pool Check-In System

Daily Admit Process:  When you are buying a day pass at the pool, you will purchase the day pass at the large window and there will be someone there to take your money.

Family Pass Process:  When you purchase your season pass, you'll be asked to fill out a registration form as usual.  We will use that information to put into the computer system.  Every family member on your pass will receive their own "Key Tag" with a specific bar code on the back.  This key tag MUST be with you when you go to the pool.  You will use it to scan in.  You are only allowed 1 time "forget" your key tag.  If you lose your key tag, let us know right away and we will order you another one.  The fee to reorder a key tag is $5.00.

Late Night Swims

Mark your Calendar for these fun-filled late night swims under the pool lights, weather permitting.

Time:  9:15-10:30 pm on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month
Fee:   Season & punch passes are not honored for late night swims. 
         (Adult - $5; Youth - $4)

Private Pool Party Packages

Looking for something different to do for your next party?  Book it at the pool!  Schedule your next birthday party, company picnic, reward party, family reunion, or any other social event!  All private pool parties must be scheduled for...before or after public pool hours/weekends.  Call the Park & Rec office to schedule!
*Pool rules apply to private parties.

Party Pricing (For 1 1/2 hours)
Up to 50 people - $75
Up to 100 people - $90
Up to 150 people - $125
*Add $20 for use of the water slide.

Low-Moderate Income Housing Grant

The City of New Hampton is taking applications for a Housing Repair Program that will be administered by the City. Common repairs may include roofs, a furnace, windows, doors, electrical upgrade, water heaters and other plumbing repairs. Approved projects must have a minimum cost estimate of $1,000, but no project shall receive more than $7,500 from the City.

The deadline to submit applications to City Hall is December 1, 2014. Homeowners must meet certain requirements to be eligible to participate in the grant program. In general, applicants must own or be buying the home, be current on their property tax and utility payments and the gross household income cannot exceed an established income ceiling based on household size. Contact the City Clerk's office, 112 E Spring St, 641-394-5906, for an application and the income limits.

Notice: Tree Trimming

NOTICE:

The City Code of the City of New Hampton states that the owner or occupant of the abutting property shall keep the trees on, or overhanging the street trimmed so that all branches will be at least 12 feet about the surface of the street and eight feet above the sidewalks. If the abutting property owner fails to trim or maintain trees within a prescribed period of time, the City will trim the trees.

If you have trees that are in violation of the City Code, please have them trimmed by September 21, 2014 so the City will not have to take action.
