Youth Programs

New Hampton Parks & Recreation has been serving the New Hampton area youth for many years.  Our goal is to promote healthy living through planned activities and open access to "play".  We provide safe and age appropriate experiences for all involved in our programs.  Our programs and activities could not thrive without the help of volunteers, and for that, we are very grateful to our community.

New Regional Job Site is Up & Running!

Posted: Thu, March 23, 2017
New Hampton Economic Development is very pleased to announce the establishment of a new regional job board that covers the 6-county Cedar Valley Regional Partnership (CVRP). The CVRP area includes Chickasaw, Buchanan, Black Hawk, Bremer, Butler and Grundy counties.

New website: http://www.newhamptonia.com/employment-opportunities.html

Companies can easily post a job without having to register, get a password or pay any fees.

•    Simply go to the site, click "submit a job" and enter your information.
•    You can select a time-frame for how long you would like the position to be posted.
•    Your posting will be reviewed by an administrator who will make it live.
•    That's it!

Job seekers will be able to search for jobs by county and category…no registrations or passwords.

We believe that this will enable companies to more easily post jobs and the site will make it easier for individuals looking for work to find local companies that are hiring.

Please contact Megan Baltes, Assistant Director, New Hampton Economic Development if you need additional information or have any questions. 641-394-2437; nheconomic@windstream.net
