Sewer Rates

RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USAGE RATES. Each residential and commercial contributor shall pay a sewer rental based on the amount of water used by said contributor in accordance with the following schedule:

 

  1. Each contributor shall pay a fee for a minimum of 1,000 gallons regardless of usage per month as follows:
    1. Effective July 1, 2025, $4.25 per 1,000 gallons used; and
    2. Commencing July 1, 2026, $5.44 per 1,000 gallons used; and
    3. Commencing July 1, 2027, $6.96 per 1,000 gallons used; and
    4. Commencing July 1, 2028, $8.92 per 1,000 gallons used; and
    5. Commencing July 1, 2029, $11.40 per 1,000 gallons used.
  2. Each contributor shall pay a service fee per month as follows:
    1. Effective July 1, 2025, $25.00 per residential user and $49.00 per commercial/industrial user; and
    2. Commencing July 1, 2026, $29.00 per residential user and $58.00 per commercial/industrial user; and
    3. Commencing July 1, 2027, $34.00 per residential user and $69.00 per commercial/industrial user; and
    4. Commencing July 1, 2028, $40.00 per residential user and $82.00 per commercial/industrial user; and
    5. Commencing July 1, 2029, $47.00 per residential user and $97.00 per commercial/industrial user.
  3. The rate per 1,000 gallons used and the sewer service fee will increase 3% per year annually thereafter June 30th, 2030, unless changed by resolution of the council.
