Tree Trimming

    According to New Hampton City Code Section 66.6 -The owner or agent of the abutting property shall keep the trees on or overhanging the street trimmed so that all branches will be at least 15feet above the surface of the street and 8 feet above the sidewalks, and do not interfere with or obscure utility wires, street lights, or street signs. If you have trees that are in violation of the City Code, please have them trimmed by September 13th so the City will not have to take action. The compost site will be open free of charge the month of September.
