Zoning Permit Fees

    RESOLUTION NO. 6102

    A RESOLUTION SETTING A SCHEDULE OF NON-REFUNDABLE FEES TO DEFRAY THE COST OF ADMINISTRATION, INSPECTION, AND ENFORCEMENT COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH IMPLEMENTING THE NEW HAMPTON ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NUMBER 835, AND THE NEW HAMPTON SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NUMBER 708, OR THE NEW HAMPTON CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES

     

    WHEREAS, the City Council of New Hampton, Iowa has adopted updated ordinances establishing zoning and subdivision regulations; and

    WHEREAS, said ordinances either require the City Council to adopt a corresponding non-refundable fees resolution of state the fees in the ordinances; and

    WHEREAS, these non-refundable fees are being established in order to defray the cost of administering, enforcing, and implementing said ordinances; and

    NO THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of New Hampton, Iowa that following fees be established in accordance with the New Hampton Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance Number 835, and the New Hampton Subdivision Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance Number708, of the New Hampton City Code of Ordinances:

    Zoning Ordinance: Zoning Permit (initial or reissuance) $50
    Zoning Ordinance: Amendments, including rezoning and text amendments $50
    Zoning Ordinance: Variances $50
    Zoning Ordinance: Special Exceptions $50
    Zoning Ordinance: Appeals of Staff Interpretations and Decisions $50
    Zoning Ordinance: Home Occupations and Home Industries $0
    Zoning Ordinance: Sign Permits See schedule
    Zoning Ordinance: Fence Permits See schedule
    Zoning Ordinance: Temporary Use Permits $50
    Zoning Ordinance: Mobile Restaurant Permits $50
    Zoning Ordinance:Agricultural Exemption Permits $0
    Zoning Ordinance: Preliminary Plats $50
    Zoning Ordinance: Final Plats $50
